Sorry about the incpmplete info on earlier post.I thought when I filled out subject and model of equipment it would appear here.Guess not. Can anyone tell me how to check the hydralic fluid level on a satoh s750d stallion tractor? There are no dipsticks, sightglasses,or etc.that I can find. Thanks Again! Carlton

Don't know the tractor, but I'd sure look for some sort of finger removable cap on top of the transmission case--possibly beneath the seat. Oil fills for front axles are more obscure and often look like an ordinary hex head bolt on top of the front axle housing. Both these type caps usually have dipsticks attached. I check my levels by wiping the stick and replacing it without screwing it back in. I believe this is the most common procedure, which will produce slightly higher oil levels than if the cap is screwed back in. Some old farm tractors did use square headed plugs on the side of cases. A plug was removed, and oil was added until it started running out of the hole, but that doesn't seem very likely on anything build since the 50's. ....
